Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator, where your skills will drive the success of various infrastructure projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse fleet of machinery, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks. You'll play a vital part in ensuring efficient project execution by operating heavy equipment safely and accurately on construction sites. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, excavation, and material transportation tasks. Conduct utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or construction activities begin. Assist with paving operations and site preparation to ensure smooth project workflows. Maintain safety protocols by inspecting equipment before use and adhering to all safety guidelines on-site. Collaborate with team members to complete construction tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime. Support other construction activities as needed to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Experience Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks in a construction environment. Strong knowledge of construction site procedures and safety practices. Familiarity with utility locating techniques and equipment. Hands-on experience with paving projects and earthmoving operations. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical instructions. Prior experience working on utility or infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Certification in heavy equipment operation or related training is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates. Join us in building the future! Pay:
