00 DOE Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with Excavators, Dozers, Haul Trucks, and Loaders, and will be responsible for various tasks related to construction and wet utilities. This role is crucial for ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to perform tasks such as trenching, excavations, and moving materials on construction sites.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Maintain the machines by performing routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the operation of other heavy equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Skills
  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation.
  • Experience in wet utilities including but not limited to storm drain, mainline water and sewer.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Experience in operating additional machinery such as Compactors, Loaders, Articulated Trucks, and Water Trucks is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to install pipe, grade and build according to site plans and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
