Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help us deliver quality results while maintaining a safe work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to large-scale infrastructure development. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as GPS dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform grading, excavation, lifting, and material handling tasks. Safely operate trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks for transporting materials and equipment around the site. Manage concrete mixers and farm machinery as needed for various construction activities. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment. Assist with site preparation, material placement, and cleanup activities to support project timelines. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites. Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment and other major brands. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker trucks. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Knowledge of construction processes including concrete mixing, earthmoving, and site grading.
