Position Overview The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient inspection, operation, and basic servicing of heavy mobile and plant equipment in support of aggregate production. This role supports excavation, hauling, processing, stockpiling, and housekeeping activities while helping maintain production targets and a strong safety culture. What Youll Do Safely operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, loaders, skid steers, backhoes, dredges, and portable plant equipment. Perform required pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and promptly report issues. Support plant operations through material handling, feeding crushers/screens, stockpiling, and loading activities. Complete housekeeping and ground support duties to maintain safe, efficient work areas. Assist with basic servicing, minor maintenance, and area safety audits. Follow all company, plant, and MSHA safety policies and procedures.

What Youll Bring Required Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of heavy equipment operation in mining, aggregates, or construction environments. Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify basic equipment issues. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Commitment to working safely in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
