Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Backhoe/Excavator Operator We are seeking an experienced and dependable Backhoe/Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction, excavation, and site preparation projects. Forman experience!
Responsibilities:
Operate backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Perform digging, trenching, grading, loading, and excavation work as required. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs. Follow all safety regulations and company procedures. Read and understand site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications. Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ability to read construction plans and blueprints, interpret grade stakes, and accurately set elevation points for excavation, cutting, grading, and site preparation projects. Must be able to operate equipment to achieve specified grades and elevations while maintaining project specifications and safety standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating backhoes and excavators. Valid driver's license Knowledge of construction site safety practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor when needed. How to
