What You'll Be Doing:

The Material Handling Operator will contribute to a coke-handling team by operating several pieces of equipment that will help move, stockpile, and prepare petroleum coke for distribution Operate any one of the following on a daily basis: a CAT 980 Loader (or equivalent) and Senebogan 850 Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections Maintain cleanliness of equipment Expand personal knowledge of operating equipment Report maintenance issues to the maintenance crew Understand our critical service requirements and see they are met Take an active role in our safety program including attendance at all safety meetings and ensure safe behaviors Ensure environmental compliance Requirements to Be Successful in

This Position:

High School Diploma or GED Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card Be able to read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions 1 year of outdoor labor, refinery, plant, or industrial preferred Savage is a Military Friendly Employer - Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus Here Are Some of The Physical Requirements for

This Role:

You will be routinely required to work outdoors and as a result are exposed to the elements Must be able to lift to 70 lbs Physically able to handle large tools, climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders Must be comfortable with heights
