An Operating Engineer or Heavy Equipment Operator drives and operates heavy equipment used in quarries, construction sites, landfills, refuse and recycling centers, or ports. Heavy Equipment may include, but is not limited to, bulldozers, excavators, paving equipment and pile drivers.

Job Description
About us For over 40 years
ASC ENVIRONMENTAL
has been providing environmental services to many contracted municipalities and industrial clients. Safety and customer satisfaction are important to us. We are expanding our respected team of professionals. Most of our crew have been with us for over 20 years! We are currently hiring for multiple positions, including drivers, operators and technicians.Duties:
- Drive to and from job sites, with occasional overnight stays out of town.
- Travel required
- although 90% of our clients are local, we occasionally have out of town jobs. We provide transportation and pay all expenses per diem.
- Full availability to work variable hours depending on length and/or location of job.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum Class A CDL for manual transmission
Skills:
- Previous knowledge and experience in hydro-vac and vacuum truck operations preferred.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.
