An Operating Engineer or Heavy Equipment Operator drives and operates heavy equipment used in quarries, construction sites, landfills, refuse and recycling centers, or ports. Heavy Equipment may include, but is not limited to, bulldozers, excavators, paving equipment and pile drivers.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to: excavators, backhoes, boring machines, hydro vac machines.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Comfortable working around live electrical wires.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid CDL license, and clean driving record.
- Directional drilling experience preferred.
