Part-Time About Us Dirt Rocks is an aggregate and trucking brokerage serving South Texas. We coordinate the movement of aggregate materials and provide reliable trucking and site support services for construction, roadwork, and commercial projects. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator to support aggregate handling, material loading, site preparation, and related operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating construction and earthmoving equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, skid steers, and other machinery as assigned Load and unload aggregate materials Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Follow safety procedures and company policies Assist with site preparation and cleanup Coordinate with truck drivers, dispatchers, and project personnel Report equipment issues promptly Qualifications Previous heavy equipment operating experience required Valid driver's license required CDL preferred but not required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to safety and equipment care Dependable attendance and work ethic Pre-Employment Requirements Applicants must successfully pass: Drug screening Motor Vehicle Record (MVR/DMV) check Criminal background check Schedule Part-time hours Flexible scheduling based on project needs Potential for additional hours during peak periods Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience How to Apply Submit your resume and relevant work experience to hr@dirtrocks.com or call (361) 673-3122 for additional information.
