Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading trucks, including roll-off, dump, flatbed, and tractor-trailer units, ensuring safety and efficiency. Support the operation of front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles as directed. Help load and secure cargo on different types of trucks, ensuring proper placement and safety compliance. Participate in manual lifting tasks involving heavy or bulky items while maintaining proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Aid drivers with pre-trip inspections, vehicle maintenance checks, and securing loads before departure. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials or goods. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with heavy equipment is preferred. Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. Knowledge of manual transmission operations is beneficial. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in logistics roles is advantageous.
