Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Excavator Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks, to efficiently execute construction projects. Your expertise in operating various types of heavy equipment will be vital to ensuring safety, precision, and timely task completion across diverse construction sites. Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy machinery, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks, with precision and safety awareness. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation activities, including grading and excavation, to support construction workflows. Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks according to project plans and specifications. Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site procedures. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate complex problems for repairs. Experience Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or water trucks on construction sites. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating heavy vehicles is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work safely in active construction environments while adhering to OSHA standards. Prior experience with site preparation tasks such as grading is highly desirable. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for heavy equipment to ensure longevity and operational efficiency.
