Overview Heavy Equipment Operator Join the Suncore Construction & Materials team! We're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator who takes pride in safe, efficient work and is ready to be part of a strong team. What You'll Do Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including trackhoes, backhoes, graders, loaders, skid steers, crushing equipment, and dozers Excavate trenches, load trucks, and grade pads and floors Read and understand plans, instructions, and specifications Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out work areas Teach and direct laborers as needed Grease, oil, and perform minor equipment repairs using hand tools and other basic equipment Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment What You'll Need Must be 18 years or older At least 1 year of experience operating a loader, dozer, or trackhoe Ability to read plans and grade stakes Ability to bend, sit for extended periods, and work in outdoor conditions, including heat Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance Strong attention to safety Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment What We Offer We value the people who do the work, which is why Suncore offers a competitive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous HSA contribution 9 paid holidays 15 days of PTO per year 401(k) with 6% company match and profit sharing Access to mental health services Paid pregnancy and parental leave Weekly pay Opportunities for career growth and advancement If you have the experience, skills, and work ethic to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.
