Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on-site. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, scrapers, dozers, ect. to perform tasks including digging, building, and transporting materials. Manage water truck operations for dust control and site preparation. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur during operation. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including loader operation, backhoe operation, and commercial driving. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment effectively. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
