Pride Excavating, Inc. is looking for an experienced, dependable CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This is not an entry-level driving position. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled, safety-minded, takes care of equipment, and can be trusted to move heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently. The right person will have solid experience loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment , as well as experience with general construction hauling. Depending on the day and the needs of our projects, you may be moving equipment between jobsites, hauling export dirt, importing material, or operating one of our dump trucks, tractors, and trailers. We are looking for someone who knows what they're doing, takes pride in their work, and doesn't need to be babysat. Responsibilities Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy construction equipment Move excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, compactors, and other construction equipment between jobsites Operate tractors with equipment trailers, including lowboy/heavy-haul configurations Operate dump trucks and other company trucks as assigned Haul export dirt, aggregate, gravel, road base, and other construction materials Properly chain, bind, and secure equipment and loads in accordance with DOT requirements Determine safe equipment placement, weight distribution, securement, and transport requirements Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Identify and report mechanical or safety concerns before they become larger problems Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, load tickets, and other required documentation Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment reasonably clean and well cared for Communicate with supervisors, operators, dispatch, and project personnel to coordinate equipment moves and deliveries Follow all DOT, FMCSA, company, and jobsite safety requirements Assist with other trucking and construction-related duties as needed Required Qualifications Valid CDL — Class A strongly preferred Current DOT Medical Card Clean and insurable driving record Previous experience transporting and loading heavy construction equipment Experience operating tractor/trailer combinations Experience with dump trucks and construction-material hauling Strong knowledge of proper load securement, chains, binders, weight distribution, and DOT requirements Ability to safely load and unload equipment without requiring an operator to do it for you Ability to perform basic truck/trailer inspections and recognize mechanical or safety issues Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work early mornings, longer days, and occasional overtime as construction schedules require Drug & Alcohol Testing This is a safety-sensitive position. Drug and alcohol testing is required and enforced. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing all required pre-employment screening. Employees are also subject to random, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion, return-to-duty, and other testing as required by company policy and applicable

Hours may vary depending on project schedules, equipment moves, hauling needs, weather, and workload. Overtime may be available or required. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. We are willing to pay appropriately for a highly experienced driver who can safely and independently handle heavy-equipment transport and construction hauling.
