Job Description
Transfer Station Loader Operator/ Roll-off Truck Driver Assist with the daily operation of the Russell County Solid Waste Transfer station. Operate Heavy and Light Equipment to support the solid waste disposal operation such as front-end loaders, Yard trucks, small tractor, other tools and equipment as needed. Responsible for site safety, directing incoming traffic, inspecting waste for prohibited materials, performing daily maintenance on equipment to ensure efficient and continuous operations of the Transfer Station. Clean and maintain Transfer station floor, equipment, and surrounding grounds. Fill in as needed as Roll-off truck Driver. Valid Current Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred, Have an Excellent Motor vehicle driving record, with no accidents or moving violations. Ability to get a DEQ Transfer Station Operator License with in one year and meet Requirements to maintain such license.
