Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators to perform various excavation tasks essential for construction projects. This role requires a strong focus on equipment safety procedures, machinery maintenance, and efficient execution of excavation activities to ensure project timelines are met safely and effectively. Responsibilities Operate excavators to perform excavation work according to project specifications and plans Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning Follow all equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members Execute excavation tasks including digging, trenching, lifting, and moving materials with precision and care Maintain and perform routine maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction personnel to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times during operations Must be able to work overtime if required Skills At least 2-3 years proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting Knowledge of equipment safety procedures and best practices Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on construction machinery Strong understanding of excavation techniques and site safety standards Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations This position offers an opportunity for dedicated individuals to contribute their expertise in a dynamic construction environment.
