Job Description
Job Summary We are one of the region's premier producers of limestone products and we are seeking a reliable and motivated heavy equipment operator to support day-to-day quarrying operations at our Swanton location. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Operate Loader, Haul Truck, Excavator, Grader, Water Truck and Dump Truck Load Haul Truck with Loader or Excavator Maintain Quarry Floors, Access Roads and Delineation Berms Scale High Walls Assist with Blasting Operations Perform Routine Cleaning, Greasing and Assist with Plant and Equipment Maintenance Follow MSHA Guidelines to Maintain a Safe Working Environment for All Team Members Qualifications & Requirements Ability and Willingness to Learn and Safely Operate All Quarry Equipment Self-Motivated with the Ability to Work Independently and and Unsupervised Strong Teamwork and Communication Skills with a Respectful Work Attitude Willingness to Learn New Tasks and Take on Additional Responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Valid Class A CDL a
