This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucks, contributing directly to the successful completion of construction projects. Duties Operate a wide range of construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, and tanker trucks to facilitate various construction activities. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like forklifts, front loader trucks, and roll-off trucks to support project workflows. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations diligently while using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocols. Assist in site preparation activities by grading, digging, lifting, and moving materials with heavy machinery. Conduct minor repairs and troubleshooting on construction machinery involving hydraulics, mechanical systems, and hand tools. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and safety checks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes (including crane operation), and other heavy equipment. Construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving commercial trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, tanker trucks, and front loader trucks. Mechanical knowledge for performing basic maintenance tasks on construction machinery and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with hand tools and material handling equipment operation for efficient site management. Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and productivity.
