Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our site prep directional drilling and tub grinding processes equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate various machinery and equipment, including excavator loader dozer dump truck and truck and trailer Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate excavation Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. The expectation is that the Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment needed to perform multiple duties Must be able to conduct pre-shift equipment check and perform light service/maintenance work in addition to various labor activities around job site as required Be familiar with and abide by Company procedures, policies, and instructions Operates and maintains heavy equipment safely and effectively Conducts pre-shift equipment check on each machine prior to use for each shift of operation Be willing to perform light service and/or maintenance on any machine  Arrival on instructed job site on time General manual labor as required Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to speak fluent English. Ability to use Timesheet programs. Valid Driver's License. Lift or move up to 100 lbs. Authorization for pre-employment background check and drug screen. Experience Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy equipment in Civil Construction related work. Previous experience in developments main line utilities house dig outs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role. CDL is required if you do not have one you will have to obtain one.
