Full Job Description Job Description:
Full-Time, Operating Excavators in a rock quarry performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to loading rockery rock, feeding the plant via jaw crusher, loading haul trucks, etc.Primary Responsibilities:
- Feed crushed rock into a jaw crusher which feeds the rest of the plant.
- Load haul trucks with crushed rock
- Sort oversize rocks
- Load dump trucks and flat beds with landscape rock.
Experience/Skills:
- 2+ years operating large excavators: CAT, Hitachi, John Deere
- Must be able to follow directions and work without close supervision.
- Ability to work as team to mine rock and expand the hole.
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations preferred.
Education/Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's license
- Proper paperwork to document that you are authorized to work in the US
- Pass Pre-employment drug test and background check.
Physical Demands:
- Regular business hours are 6-4pm M-F and Saturdays
- This job requires working outside in all kinds of weather.
- Attention to Safety when working around heavy equipment and quarry environments.
