Join Our Team at LRI Prairie Ridge Transfer Station - A Waste Connections Company! We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team at our transfer station in Bonney Lake, WA. Meaningful, Stable Work:
Play a direct role in essential landfill and community operations Union Position with
Competitive Pay:
$30.12/hour (80% of contract rate) $33.89/hour after 6 months (90%) $37.65/hour after 1 year (100%)
Schedule:
Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

Opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the company What You'll Do Safely operate heavy equipment such as compactors, dozers, excavators, and graders Assist with loading and unloading materials Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment Direct onsite traffic to maintain safety and efficiency Identify and address potential hazards Maintain a clean, organized work environment Provide excellent customer service when interacting with drivers and team members What We're Looking For Experience operating heavy equipment (compactors, dozers, excavators, graders) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong safety mindset and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to communicate in English for safety purposes (Spanish is a plus) Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, odors, and typical landfill conditions
