Job Description

Sutter Metals is a busy metal recycling facility located in Tacoma, WA and is currently looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator to control/operate a heavy wheeled excavator with shear attachments.

Shift:

Monday - Friday (8am - 430pm)

POSITION DETAILS

Safely operate wheeled-excavator and attachments such as a shear, to process metal. Daily self-inspection of equipment prior to operating, and communication with Operations Manager + Mechanic, as needed. Using knowledge of metal grades and packages to advise customers + supporting staff ( training provided ).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED Minimum 2+ years of excavator operating experience. Experience with metal recycling preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Sutter Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
