An Operating Engineer or Heavy Equipment Operator drives and operates heavy equipment used in quarries, construction sites, landfills, refuse and recycling centers, or ports. Heavy Equipment may include, but is not limited to, bulldozers, excavators, paving equipment and pile drivers.

Job Description
Hiring for a Heavy Equipment operator We are looking for an experienced, motivated, even tempered operator to join our team. This position is mainly to include , operation and maintenance of our concrete, asphalt and glass recycling yard, as well as support for our landscape commodities yard when needed. Crushing experience & CLD A are a plus but not required. In addition to experience requirements, applicants should have positive work attitude and the ability to interact well with customers both over radio and in person as well as coworkers. You will also have input on hiring of support staff. Position is Monday-Friday and occasional saturday availability. Benefits include Medical HSA, Dental, 401k with matching, Accrued paid leave, and Vacation benefits.
Wage:
DOE/DOQ Hours 40/week, open Monday- Saturday. Minimum requirements include
- 3+ years experience with operation and maintenance of Crushing and screening equipment. 3+ years experience with Wheel Loader operation and maintenance 3+ years experience with Excavator operation and maintenance Desired skills
- Self-starter
- Position requires someone who can determine what needs to be done and when. Comunication Skills
- will need to interact with Customers and other employees in a professional manner Safety minded in all job aspects. Ability and willingness to do ground work when necessary. Welding, fabrication, and mechanical skills also a plus. Maintenance abilities
