THE ROLE

The core of this position is skid steer operation on residential job sites — prepping subgrade, finish grading yards, and spreading topsoil. You'll also be working alongside the excavation crew on house digs, backfilling foundations to rough grade, and general site prep. If you're smooth with a skid steer, take pride in a clean finish grade, and know how residential site work flows, this job is a great fit. We're also open to strong operators of all backgrounds. If you have solid hours on an excavator, dozer, or skid steer, we want to hear from you.

DAY-TO-DAY WORK INCLUDES

Skid steer operation for site grading and topsoil spreading Prepping building sites to subgrade Building driveways and shed sites Backfilling foundations to rough grade Residential and commercial site prep from dirt to final grade Daily equipment inspection and basic maintenance Working alongside the crew and coordinating with site supervisors

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven skid steer experience with grading Ability to use a laser and read slope to hit grade accurately Experience on other equipment (excavator, dozer) is a bonus Experience with GPS grade control equipment is a plus Class A CDL required Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision Comfortable working outdoors through a full Wisconsin season Strong operator in other equipment but limited skid steer time?
