Job Description
Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

- Marinette, WI The Hydraulic Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining equipment to move, load, and unload scrap metal materials and other objects. This position performs daily inspections and conducts all work in accordance with company safety requirements. Job Duties
- Operate cranes (material handler) to lift, move, sort, load, and unload metal material,
- Ability to sort metal material with magnet or grapple crane equipment
- Maintain radio communication with crew members while observing details on the ground.
- Observe hand signals from other crew members.
- Perform and log daily equipment inspections
- Monitor equipment operations and identify malfunctions.
- Report and/or perform/assist with routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment as required.
- Inspect, adjust, and perform minor repairs.
- Comply with Company and Client policies and procedures.
- Support a zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties as may be required Monday & Friday (7:00am to 4:30pm )

(7am to 3:30pm) Job Requirements Educational, Experience, Professional, and Technical Requirements- Heavy Equipment Operation Experience
- 5 year
- Experience in metals industry a plus
- Able to work in all weather and temperature environments.
- Must be able to work in a team environment. Physical Requirements of the Job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Walk, sit, stand, climb ladders and stairs lift up to 50 pounds
