Grader Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated grader operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating grading machinery to prepare surfaces for asphalt paving. This role requires a strong understanding of various equipment and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Grader will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate grading equipment, including but not limited to grader, dump trucks, and loaders, to perform earthmoving tasks. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety and relay information to mechanic if nessecary. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license a huge plus. Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as a grader, dump trucks, and/or loaders. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. Experience in digging with backhoe a plus! Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
