Do you enjoy operating graders, excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, and snow removal equipment? The City of Wausau is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to help build, maintain, and improve the streets, utilities, and infrastructure our community relies on every day. If you'd rather be in the cab than behind a desk, this is the job for you. If you take pride in operating equipment safely, doing quality work, and being part of a team that gets the job done right, we'd like to hear from you. What We Offer ✔ Starting pay of $24.44/hour or higher DOQ ✔ Monday-Friday | 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ✔ Excellent benefits package ✔ Wisconsin Retirement System ✔ Year-round, full-time employment ✔ Variety of work in every season ✔ Open Until Filled What You'll Do Operate graders, excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, rollers, and other heavy equipment Perform roadway construction, excavation, maintenance, and snow removal Inspect and perform routine servicing of equipment Work with an experienced Public Works team committed to safety and quality What We're Looking For High School Diploma or Equivalent Class A CDL with N endorsement Heavy equipment experience Construction, excavation, roadway maintenance, or related experience Strong safety mindset and dependable work ethic If you're looking for a career where your work makes a visible impact every day, we'd like to hear from you.
Pay:
$24.44 - $32.26 per hour
