An Operating Engineer or Heavy Equipment Operator drives and operates heavy equipment used in quarries, construction sites, landfills, refuse and recycling centers, or ports. Heavy Equipment may include, but is not limited to, bulldozers, excavators, paving equipment and pile drivers.

Job Description
Candidates for all positions should be able to pass background checks, drug testing, and preemployment physical. Have reliable transportation, work ethic and the ability to read and follow content of written materials such as construction plans, instruction manuals and follow standard operating procedures and safety rules. Equipment Operators are required to have 3 years minimum experience operating mini excavator and skid steer with a variety of attachments. Gas Main/Water Main/Utilities experience in installations in rural and urban areas. Full understanding of surface or subsurface equipment and operations. The ability to perform Skilled Labor duties in conjunction with equipment operation. All positions are responsible for the safe operation of a variety of construction equipment and vehicles, equipment maintenance and daily inspections. These positions all require the ability to obtain and maintain Operators Qualifications as defined by the DOT as required. We offer competitive pay and benefits.
