Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and industrial painting, with the ability to lead projects from start to finish. As a Lead Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, supervising painting crews, and maintaining safety standards on the job site. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Duties Oversee and coordinate painting projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to specifications. Apply various painting techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional brush methods. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Supervise and train junior painters and assistants in proper techniques and safety protocols. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and drywall installers to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct quality checks of completed work to ensure it meets company standards. Requirements Proven experience as a painter with expertise in residential painting, industrial painting, or remodeling. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to painting tasks. Familiarity with drywall installation, plastering techniques, and maintenance person skills is preferred. Strong understanding of safety practices in the painting industry. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
