Residential Painter

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Painter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, or minor repairs Conduct construction site assessments to ensure safety compliance and proper preparation before starting work Collaborate with team members on commercial and residential projects, including remodeling and restoration jobs, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading Skilled in surface preparation techniques including sanding, caulking, plastering, and stucco application Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and the use of hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate finishes that complement their spaces Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope and materials needed Experience with renovation projects involving carpentry (trim carpentry), framing (frame carpentry), masonry, or industrial painting is a plus Strong handyman skills with experience in fixture installation, restoration work, or maintenance tasks Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
