Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated candidate to join our team as a vital contributor to our organizational success. Your proactive approach and commitment will propel our mission forward and inspire those around you. Work Schedule is Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The Axle Hanging Technician is responsible for safely lifting, positioning, and installing vehicle axles onto the assembly line. This role involves teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to all safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilitie s Hang and align axles chassis using mechanical hoists and lift assists. Inspect axles and related components for defects or damage prior to installation. Follow production line schedules and instructions to meet daily output goals. Use hand and power tools to secure axles and ensure proper fitment. Work closely with team members to maintain line flow and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and proper PPE usage. Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor immediately. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualification's High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read work instructions. Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality. Work Environment Fast-paced production setting with moderate noise and machinery. Requires use of safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and other PPE. May involve working with hoists, conveyors, and torque tools.
MIG / STICK WELDER ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety:
Practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
Productivity:
Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
Stewardship:
Serve as a good steward of our company's physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping your assigned area clean, and orderly.
Planning:
Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
Attendance:
Meet all attendance requirements, available for start of shift at required time, following the attendance rules and regulations of the division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary. Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50lbs, as well as other physical duties as needed. You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members. Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired. Welding experience required.
