Hour Construction Full Job Description Painter Location:
Montgomery, AL /
Tuskegee, AL Pay Rate:
$21.00/hour We are seeking experienced Painters to perform interior and exterior coating work for healthcare facilities. This position supports ongoing maintenance and repair projects and may rotate between campuses based on workload.
Responsibilities:
Perform coating work using brushing, rolling, spraying, and other accepted application methods. Apply coatings to achieve smooth decorative finishes and required thickness levels. Prepare surfaces through smoothing, filling, shaping, leveling, and related prep methods. Repair and alter paintable surfaces including walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and doors. Remove wallpaper and prepare surfaces for refinishing.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of documented painting experience required. Experience using common painting tools and trade devices, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and specialty tools. Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and work in environments involving dust, chemicals, oil, soot, grease, and fumes. OSHA 30-hour construction training and PPE compliance required.
