Apply paint, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Operate airless sprayers and painting equipment.
Maintain clean, organized work areas.
Follow project specifications and safety requirements.
Perform work with minimal supervision while maintaining quality workmanship.
Requirements2+ years of commercial, industrial, or residential painting experience.
Experience with pressure washing preferred.
Knowledge of proper surface preparation techniques.
Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors.
Reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail.
MS Department of Corrections background check required.
Must be eligible to work inside a secure correctional facility.
Additional Security RequirementMust be able to meet all MDOC security clearance requirements, including compliance with facility policies regarding visible gang-related tattoos or symbols. #INDMSGC
