Position Overview We're seeking a skilled Painter who takes pride in their work and can deliver flawless results across a variety of commercial and residential projects through our properties in Arizona. This position will require travel to various locations throughout the state of Arizona. From new construction to interior refreshes to large commercial builds, you'll be a key part of delivering the quality our clients expect. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Perform both interior and exterior painting on residential homes and commercial properties Read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and work orders Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and coverings Mix, match, and apply colors accurately per client specifications Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and job sites Follow all safety protocols including proper use of ladders, scaffolding, and PPE Communicate professionally with clients, crew members, and project managers Complete jobs on schedule while maintaining high quality standards Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of professional painting experience (commercial and/or residential) Proficiency with brush, roller, and spray application techniques Experience with surface preparation, drywall repair, and finish work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to travel to varies locations in Arizona. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in Arizona heat and varying weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods Preferred (Bonus) Skills Experience with epoxy coatings, decorative finishes, or specialty applications Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Experience supervising or leading a paint crew What We Offer Competitive salary pay based on experience Full time position with consistent, year-round Company housing is provided, or an RV site for those with an RV Opportunities for advancement into lead or supervisory roles Copperwood Communities offers a welcoming community and a great opportunity for a driven sales professional to thrive and grow.
