Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and durability Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and construction spray painting techniques Execute structural and industrial painting projects with attention to detail on surfaces such as stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and framing Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute project requirements Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and fixture installation equipment safely and effectively on construction sites Conduct surface testing for color matching using visual comparison tools and adhere to color theory principles for consistent results Follow safety regulations rigorously by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocol guidelines during all phases of work Assist in renovation projects by performing trim carpentry, drywall repairs, caulking, masonry work, and basic handyman tasks as needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly Experience Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application methods Hands-on experience with residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects including renovation or restoration work Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction estimating processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools (including paint sprayers), scaffolding equipment, and safety gear effectively Knowledge of color theory principles for accurate color matching and visual consistency across projects Ability to work safely at heights using ladders or scaffolding while following all safety regulations Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area or material quantities Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols and site-specific procedures Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship transforms spaces!
