Job Description

LEAD POSITION, PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND PERFORMANCE
Basic Function:
To efficiently carry out painting, paint-related, and crew management duties to accomplish the completion of assigned painting projects
Scope of Responsibility :
As delegated by the Foreman. Efficiently carry out painting and paint-related duties in a professional and skillful manner. Ensure that all tasks are carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience:
Must have a clear understanding of job-site safety. Must be able to efficiently manage painters and all tasks involved with completing jobs. Must possess knowledge of products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sequence specific job assignments, oversee and manage all aspects of the job Perform job start and end-of-job tasks
Standard Painting Functions:
Demonstrate a clear understanding of job-site safety and always utilize personal protective equipment Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization Have a thorough understanding of products Use and move ladders and power equipment Reports to foreman Ability to work a 12hr shift Ability to manage 7+ person crew Can run any type of job efficiently Complete knowledge of paint chemistry (vehicle, binder, pigment, etc.) Confident in all airless spray techniques and troubleshooting Basic knowledge or dispute resolutions and techniques Consistently complete jobs on time Has a high degree of honesty and personal integrity Demonstrates a positive attitude Is an effective leader and communicator Works efficiently and effectively People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
