Paint Technician - 2nd
Shift Pay Rate:
$24.50/hour
Schedule:
2nd Shift, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Paint Technician to prepare and apply paint coatings to frames, stems, and centers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with spray painting equipment and two-component paints and be able to consistently meet quality and production standards. Essential Functions Receive daily instructions from the supervisor regarding painting requirements and the production schedule. Load parts onto racks and cleaning equipment. Prepare and paint products according to specifications. Inspect painted parts thoroughly for defects in partnership with Quality Control Inspectors. Maintain a consistent work pace and meet production schedules and quality standards. Follow detailed written, verbal, and diagrammatic instructions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Qualifications Previous experience with industrial painting is preferred. Knowledge and experience using hand guns, spray pumps, and two-component paints . Ability to read and understand basic written instructions. Ability to print and communicate using simple sentences. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to work with basic measurements involving money, weight, volume, and distance. Ability to follow one- and two-step instructions using common sense and good judgment. Ability to work effectively in standardized situations with limited variables. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain concentration for extended periods. Ability to work within specified limits, tolerances, and quality standards. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Work Expectations Maintain an appropriate pace based on the general workload. Complete assigned work according to schedule. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Work consistently throughout the scheduled workday and workweek. Meet established production, quality, and safety standards.
Pay Details:
