Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, plastering, drywall repair, caulking, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately execute painting projects according to specifications Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, hand tools, paint sprayers, conventional spraying, and construction spray painting techniques for residential and commercial settings Use ladders safely and effectively to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Perform structural painting tasks on building frameworks and surfaces requiring specialized coatings for durability and protection Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal of paints and materials while following safety regulations and respiratory protection guidelines Assist with remodeling, renovation projects, fixture installation, drywall finishing, plastering, and general maintenance tasks as needed to support project completion Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction estimating and blueprint reading Skilled in surface preparation techniques including drywall repair, plastering, caulking, and coating application Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), brushes, rollers, and other relevant equipment Knowledge of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching during projects Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately to ensure precise application of paint and coatings Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection and safe ladder use Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients Join us in creating lasting impressions through expert craftsmanship!
