The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in drywall repair, taping, texturing, and painting, with the ability to produce high-quality finishes on Level 4 walls. This position requires a commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior painting projects in commercial, institutional, or residential environments. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming. Repair damaged drywall, including patching holes, cracks, and other imperfections. Install, tape, mud, and finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready surface. Apply skim coats and perform Level 4 wall finishing to achieve high-quality results. Demonstrate proficiency in rolling, brushing, and cutting-in techniques. Match existing paint colors and textures when performing repairs. Operate and maintain painting and drywall tools and equipment safely and effectively. Protect surrounding surfaces, furnishings, and equipment during work activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of materials. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients regarding project status and requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior patching, painting, and drywall finishing. Extensive experience with drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and repair. Proven ability to finish and paint Level 4 walls . Strong skills in rolling, brushing, and precision cut-in work. Knowledge of paint products, coatings, primers, and application techniques. Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, and project instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or occupied spaces. Knowledge of texture matching and specialty finishes. OSHA safety training or related certifications.
