Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our painting and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in commercial and industrial painting , with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. Candidates should possess a solid background in using hand tools and power tools, and applying various painting methods. A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency is essential for success in this position. Willing to work AM/PM and Overtime if needed Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment. Execute specialized painting tasks such as industrial painting, stucco application, masonry finishing, and fixture installation. Read and interpret job descriptions to determine project scope and specifications. Perform renovation work including trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and restoration projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete painting tasks and surface preparations. Assist with construction estimating for projects when needed. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Keep up with proper training and certifications for each job. Qualifications Proven experience in Industrial painting, commercial painting, or construction site painting. Skilled in handling hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers; proficient with power tools including sanders and sprayers. Experience with specialty applications like stucco, masonry finishes, industrial coatings, or restoration work is a plus. Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding safely. Ability to work at heights and on scissor lifts safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.
