In this role, you will be responsible for transforming living spaces with expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations. Your expertise in residential painting, combined with your knowledge of construction and renovation processes, will contribute to creating beautiful, lasting results for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working on diverse projects that enhance homes and interiors. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Apply paint, stains, and finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools for efficient coverage. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles. Perform plastering, drywall repair, stucco application, and restoration work to create Local family-owned painting company based in the Santa Clarita Valley is looking to bring on an experienced residential painter for upcoming projects. We keep our work strictly local to SCV, so we are looking for a reliable team member who lives in or very close to the valley (we do not want long commutes from deep LA). This is a professional, tax-compliant 1099 position. You must be willing to complete a W-9 form and provide a valid ID—no cash under the table. Responsibilities Perform residential interior and exterior painting tasks to high professional standards. Handle extensive prep work, masking, sanding, and clean cut-ins.
