Painter

Overview We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in various painting techniques, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering high‑quality workmanship on every project. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, caulking, and priming Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers Perform detailed touch-ups and ensure clean, high-quality finishes Conduct pressure washing for surface preparation Refinish and repaint cabinets Perform staining and varnishing Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality and timeline expectations Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Painter Strong proficiency with airless and conventional paint sprayers Knowledge of basic math for measurements and material calculations Knowledge of multi component coating systems including, Epoxies, Urethane and Understanding of color theory and ability to match colors accurately Experience in commercial, government, and public works projects involving both interior and exterior painting. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work Monday-Friday with night and weekend availability as needed. Must successfully pass a background check to obtain authorization for access to secure facilities.
