In this role, you will assist experienced painters with preparing surfaces, handling tools, and supporting various painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your energetic approach and willingness to learn will contribute to delivering high-quality finishes on time and within scope. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in construction painting while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer or sealants as needed Assist with mixing paints and applying coatings using hand tools and power tools, including airless paint sprayers Support the setup and cleanup of work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Handle minor repairs such as caulking, patching holes, and basic plastering to ensure smooth surfaces before painting Read blueprints, schematics, or sketches to understand project requirements and specifications Assist with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry work, or restoration tasks as directed Maintain an organized workspace by storing tools properly and reporting any equipment issues promptly Experience Prior experience in construction painting or related trades is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment used on construction sites Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project tasks Knowledge of color theory and different types of paints for various surfaces (residential, commercial, industrial) Experience with blueprint reading and schematics is advantageous Hands-on experience in renovation projects or handyman work is a plus Ability to work effectively at heights and in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
