In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will help bring visions to life, enhance property aesthetics, and maintain the integrity of various surfaces. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and airless paint sprayers. Utilize power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation, fixture installation, and minor carpentry tasks like trim carpentry and framing. Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial painting, stucco application, masonry finishes, and restoration projects. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project timelines and specifications while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques. Hands-on experience Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and equipment such as airless sprayers for efficient application. Background in related trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry, plastering, welding, or concrete finishing is a plus.
