Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contract Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential and commercial painting projects, including apartment turnovers, single-family homes, and common areas. This position requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Complete interior and exterior painting projects Perform touch-ups and color matching as needed Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow project specifications and quality standards Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Complete projects within established timelines Qualifications Previous professional painting experience required Experience with residential, commercial, or multifamily properties preferred Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials Experience using paint sprayers, brushes, and rollers Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Reliable transportation to travel to job sites Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when necessary Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Experience Apartment turnover painting Property management or maintenance-related painting Interior and exterior residential painting Commercial painting projects Compensation Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
