- Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Lead Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various painting techniques and be able to lead a team effectively. MUST have experience using swing stage for multi story jobs or willing to learn how to use one for multi-story jobs.
- Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate painting projects from start to finish
- Prepare surfaces for painting including scraping, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint or other finishes using airless paint spraying equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Perform tasks related to concrete finishing, fixture installation, drywall, stucco, and masonry as needed
- Restore and maintain painted surfaces
- Supervise and train painting team members
- Ensure quality control throughout the painting process
- Experience
- Proven experience as a painter with proficiency in airless paint spraying
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and project specifications
- Familiarity with concrete finishing, fixture installation, drywall, stucco, masonry, and carpentry
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
