The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be able to work on a range of projects. Duties
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces
- Prepare walls and other surfaces before painting
- Mix and match colors for desired shades
- Follow blueprints or instructions to determine the materials needed
- Use various tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Repair cracks, holes, and other imperfections before painting
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed during the painting process Qualifications
- Experience with commercial painting projects
- Knowledge of blueprint reading for painting projects
- Proficiency in drywall repair and finishing
- Familiarity with power tools used in painting and construction
- Ability to work with concrete finishing and masonry is a plus
- Understanding of schematics for accurate paint application
- Previous experience in plastering and building maintenance is advantageous
- Maintenance Person skills for minor repairs and touch-ups
