Painter

Maintain and repairing interior and exterior finishes, including but not limited to patching and painting of walls, ceilings. Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding or by other means as necessary and primes/seal surfaces prior to finishing. Selects and mixes materials, matches colors and tints for spray, brush, or roller painting of surfaces. Completes assigned preventative and corrective maintenance work orders timely and accurately. Caulks, plasters and putties holes and cracks in walls and other surfaces. Identifies, selects and uses appropriate tools for applying finishes. Works with other tradesmen as assigned. Participates and employs behavior that promotes teamwork to achieve department goals. Assist the Facility Manager and other Facility Staff. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) years experience required. Must have experience in drywall, texture finish product, orange peel. Basic knowledge of the use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Takes and follows the directions given. Handles multiple task quickly and efficiently.
