Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Subcontractor Painter to oversee and execute painting projects across residential, commercial sites. As a subcontractor painter you will lead painting crews, ensure quality standards are met, and coordinate with project managers to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing will drive the success of painting projects . Duties Lead and supervise painting crews. Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute a wide range of painting techniques including residential painting, commercial painting, airless paint spraying, and specialty finishes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks. Perform repairs such as drywall patching, trim carpentry, stucco application. Maintain a clean work environment by managing waste disposal and ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed for each project using estimating skills. Experience Proven experience in painting with a strong background in residential, commercial projects. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools including airless sprayers, and other relevant machinery.
