Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a clean and professional finish. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the scope of work required. Install fixtures and perform minor repairs related to painting tasks. Restore and maintain various surfaces including stucco and plaster. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and handymen to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials after use. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven 5+ years of experience in commercial painting Must be able to travel and stay over night during the week for projects Proficiency in fixture installation and basic maintenance person skills. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Familiarity with various hand tools and painting equipment. Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishes. Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
